The Vapormatt Sabre has been designed to deliver the ultimate in edge preparation, surface conditioning and cleaning technologies to our customers.
Built with three specific user groups in mind, it gives more control to medium-sized manufacturers, coating centres and research and development facilities.
The Vapormatt Sabre has been designed to deliver the ultimate in edge preparation, surface conditioning and cleaning technologies to our customers.
The Sabre’s ‘hybrid’ design accepts a wide range of medical instruments, implants and equipment. Complete with Vapormatt’s established monitoring and control technology, the Sabre offers high process control on an extremely compact footprint.
The wet micro-blasting of substrates such as Cemented Carbides or HSS is proven to enhance your instruments’ performance and lifespan. Along with an improved surface finish, wet micro-blasting technology finishes products to excellent standards of cleanliness, allowing for exceptional CVD and PVD coating adhesion, whilst the ability to peen can reduce tensile stresses and increase your tools’ durability.
Superior edge preparation and honing is also critical for improving instrument life, and our own Research and Development teams are dedicated to the continuous refining and optimising of our edge honing processes. As a result, the Sabre can produce controlled and consistent edge hones up to 100 microns.
Constructed from stainless steel, the Sabre provides a robust, non-corrosive and quiet structure (75dBA) for its sophisticated processing controls. Programming is easy and transferring between systems becomes effortless, with its intuitive integrated HMI screen. With Watchdog monitoring, the Sabre is self-reliant, producing consistent results with minimal supervision.
